UNICEF announces global cryptocurrency fundOn 8 October, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced the official launch of the UNICEF cryptocurrency fund.
As of this date, UNICEF will be able to receive donations in several cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

With the rise of popularity, cryptocurrencies have experienced over the past several years, many charities and organizations have started accepting donations in the form of tokens.
According to UNICEF, all donations gathered through the cryptocurrency fund will be invested in developing open source solutions to better the standard of life for children around the world.
