The Sandbox, a decentralized metaverse platform, is partnering with security solution provider Ledger Enterprise to enhance security integration for its partners.

The collaboration will allow partners to migrate their nonfungible token (NFT) collections to the Ledger wallet, ensuring a more secure environment for their digital assets.

Enhancing security in the Metaverse

This new partnership aims to offer better security integration for enterprise brand partners of the gaming company. The collaboration will make it simpler and more convenient for brands to secure their LANDs (virtual real estate) while also safeguarding the wallet containing The Sandbox NFT collection.

Multiple initiatives will be undertaken as part of this collaboration, including adding The Sandbox as a dApp on Ledger Enterprise and integrating a widget for The Sandbox in the Ledger Live desktop application.

Moreover, the partnership will build synergies by recommending Ledger Enterprise to The Sandbox’s LAND owner ecosystem, and Ledger can recommend The Sandbox to Ledger Enterprise clients interested in the metaverse.

All NFTs in The Sandbox collection wallet will be migrated to a secure Ledger Enterprise wallet for added security.

A partnership focused on trust and security

Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of Sandbox, expressed excitement about the partnership and the potential for enhanced security for brands entering the metaverse.

Alex Zinder, Head of Enterprise at Ledger, emphasized the importance of security for brands that create or store digital assets. He noted that The Sandbox works with numerous brands and helps build trust and utility for newer users, making security a top priority.

Ledger Enterprise is proud to provide the peace of mind that businesses and consumers deserve in this digital landscape.

Growing together in the digital space

Ariel Wengroff, VP of Communications, highlighted The Sandbox’s early focus on security and making the onboarding process enjoyable for users.

The partnership has already produced positive results with the School of Block education game in the platofmr, and both parties are excited to see their collaboration grow at every level.

This partnership between Sandbox and Ledger Enterprise reflects the increasing importance of security in the expanding metaverse. As digital assets become more prevalent, ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of these assets will be paramount for businesses and consumers alike.
