Got a potential blockchain use case? Register for T- Block Accelerator blockchain program

The T- Block Accelerator validates the state’s continued efforts in wooing blockchain investments in the region and accelerating the growth and establishment of the startups in the field. Last year in May, it proposed the establishment of India’s very own official blockchain district zone that houses world-class facilities for blockchain startups and research.

Jayesh Ranjan, who works with the government as the principal secretary of the ITE&C department, confirmed at the blockchain program inauguration that Telegana is dedicated to putting Hyderabad on the world’s blockchain map. The opening sets the ball rolling and puts the focus back on blockchain for solving real-world challenges. It aims to pave the way for future blockchain accelerator programs in the country, and the collaboration with the renowned tech company in India will ensure that we meet our goals, Ranjan announced.

The announcement states that the joint initiative will enable the forming of an ecosystem for blockchain companies that offers adequate guidance in terms of addressing business complexities across various industry verticals and provide regulatory advice to ensure that the setup and growth of businesses comply with requisite legal norms.

Rajesh Dhuddu, who works with Tech Mahindra as a global practice leader of blockchain, said during the inauguration that the firm is hugely optimistic towards its efforts in boosting blockchain acceptance in the country. In September, the company partnered with American tech giant Adjoint to pilot the testing of blockchain in financial and insurance-related services.

Together with the state government, Tech Mahindra intends to build top-notch facilities and infrastructure for blockchain entrepreneurs and enthusiasts and attract massive investments in the domain, he said.

Meanwhile, the applications for this blockchain initiative have already begun, which involves a week-long boot camp and a month-long rigorous training program. Through several discussion programs, seminars, workshops, and extensive Q&A sessions, the program promises excellent mentoring and guidance from industry experts.
