Requirements for the OpenAI Discord Manager role
The Discord Manager will work with product teams to gather feedback and insights on OpenAI products from the community and leverage it for user engagement and promoting OpenAI’s mission and products. They will also collaborate with internal teams to identify and engage active Discord users and recruit them to participate in public discussions and events.
To succeed in this role, the candidate should be able to drive strategic planning and structure for the OpenAI Discord community, facilitate community-based learning and skill-building, and foster a strong relationship with highly engaged Discord users. They should also be able to manage projects and teams without direct reporting lines and demonstrate goal setting, incentivization, and recognition of quality work.
