Following months of preparations Block Hop’s development team is delighted to announce Bitcoin cash video game RealmX, that’s powered by Bitcoin cash.
While some may argue that cryptocurrencies have found very little purpose in the real world, in the virtual world, though, they are indeed cooking up a storm.
It was in August when the team had raised the expectations of gaming and cryptocurrency enthusiasts by hinting at an official launch of the sandbox video game driven by Bitcoin cash.
The official Bitcoin cash video game RealmX release
Come Oct 10, and developers are ready with the official rollout. The highly-anticipated version is now live on Google Play.
Until yesterday, the RealmX Telegram chat was abuzz with core developers weighing up the response for game’s listing on Google Play. They claimed to be in a testing mode and that the live version is still a work under process. A few hours went by, and the Bitcoin cash video game RealmX went live on the site proper. The team immediately announced its official launch BCH mainnet by stating that gamers can now reap the benefits of months of hard work and research put into developing this futuristic game.
The Realmx team describes the BCH fueled game as a “free to play sandbox game.” This implies that it is entirely customizable, open to mold into its users’ imagination and free-roaming. A genre that is well-liked by the generation Z users, Realmx boasts of features that allow gamers to fight monsters by devising their own items and content, eventually developing the game according to their preferences.
Use or earn Bitcoin cash
Although the game is free and does not demand Bitcoin cash to install and run it, the cryptocurrency can be used to enhance the overall gaming experience through in-app purchases. Set in the stone age, the game’s curated enhancements are stored on the BCH chain and help improve player abilities.
The modern-age game also allows users to earn Bitcoin cash by designing weapons that may be in demand with other players.
Meanwhile, the Bitcoin cash supporters were excited to get their hands on the improved live version as an early leaked Google Play version back in September, revealed several shortcomings. The users took to the game’s Telegram chat to show potential bugs and demanded that they are sorted in the final version. Now, with a live version already underway, gaming enthusiasts cannot seem to stop raving about the unique blockchain-based online game on social media.
