Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the great action-adventure sequel by the well-known team Respawn Entertainment, is already out and available to the subscribers of EA Play. Nonetheless, this function has entered the PlayStation only for the time being.
Extending the Survivor Experience
Currently, there is no sign of Star Wars Jedi: EA Play feature for the PC version and Xbox is the survivor for EA Play. The game does not seem to list in the EA Play catalog on EA’s site, and the publisher has not yet made any official announcement about its incorporation on the service.
However, this announcement follows up on EA’s recent increase in the price of its EA Play subscription service. The price increased from £3.99 per month to £5.99. Yearly payments have increased to £19.99 and £35.99 respectively. Current members will pay more beginning from May 10, this year.
The Journey of a survivor continues
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, came out a year ago and continues where the first part left off, following young Jedi Knight Cal Kestis as he fights the Galactic Empire. The plot of Survivor is set 5 years after the events of the first episode, and it revolves around Cal as he faces the new struggles and dangers in his journey to restore the Jedi Order.
In his review for Eurogamer, Chris Tapsell praised the fundamental fun factor of the game, saying, “The long and the short of it is Jedi: Not here not there both in the excess of power fantasy mainstream game and the private individual ability seen in the face of overwhelming obstacles. Combine it with the magpie approach to design too – the platforming, the gardening, the settlement building and the all-new shops to spend collectibles.
A Cross-Platform Expansion at hand
While the addition of Star Wars Jedi: Right now Survivor to EA Play is limited to the PlayStation, EA’s latest announcement is that there will be a launch on Xbox and PC by the end of the week. As stated in a post on Xbox Wire, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will finally come “for all EA Play members” on Thursday, April 25th.
This is why PC Game Pass and Ultimate Game Pass members will have access this Thursday to the greatly awaited title, for they get EA Play as part of the subscription service of Microsoft.
As the latest entry in the revived Star Wars gaming universe, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on EA Play will definitely please players from all platforms. Whether you’re an experienced Jedi or new to the galaxy far, far away, this update is supposed to enrich the story of Cal Kestis and allow more players to enjoy the movie-like narrative and exciting gameplay of Survivor.
