On Christmas, before the year ends, a crypto leader of PowerWaterhouse Coopers (PwC), Henri Arslanian talked about some of the things he thinks will happen in 2019. He says that many institutional players will finally try their luck in crypto space. He thinks that 2019 will be a year full of momentum and new opportunities for the crypto space.
The reason, as Arslanian believes, would be the transparency of regulations. He also said that many banks and traditional financial service providers will accept and try cryptocurrency. He predicts that they might do this by making their own platforms or collaborating with other companies or investing in them as major stakeholders. Owing to the said activity, there will be more experienced people from the finance industry and background migrating into the crypto space and crypto space is in a dire need for more experienced people.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is a consulting and auditing giant with a huge network of companies all over the globe. Its headquarters were found in 1849 and are located in London. It is among the top five big accounting organizations. In 2017, the company’s branch in HongKong started to use Bitcoin to make transactions and for payment of its consulting service
Arslanian’s predictions may come true as Nasdaq has already announced it plans to launch a Bitcoin (BTC) futures contract next year. The intercontinental exchange has also revealed its plans to launch the Bakkt platform in January of next year. Although there is some finance giant that has pulled back from investing in the crypto space because of the recent decline in prices in the market, experts are still optimistic.
